San Manuel, Arizona is the annual setting for the spectacular San Manuel Copper Classic off-road motorcycle race held typically the first weekend in March. It is hosted by Trail Riders of Southern Arizona (TRS) and is part of the Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) race series. The event has both kids and adult events. There is no admission fee for spectators and onsite food is sold by local high school youth.
Formed in 2004, Trail Riders of Southern Arizona is a non-profit charity that hosts the event each year as a fundraiser to benefit the local school board to fund extracurricular student activities. In 2018 TRS gave $2,000 to the San Manuel Schools and $1,000 to the San Manuel Fire Department.
