Our purpose is: “To provide for the betterment of the Tri-community by promoting economic and social opportunities while preserving the area’s mining heritage”. We are a 501c(3) nonprofit organization of volunteers in San Manuel, Arizona.
We’re always happy to have anyone join our group that is interested in helping our community grow. It is only through the involvement of the community that San Manuel can become the thriving community that it used to be
The Copper Town Association usually meets the first Tuesday of every month at 10am in a conference room at Sun Life Family Health Center at 23 McNab Pkwy. in San Manuel.
Our Impact on the Area
The money we raise during our annual fund raiser, Copper Town Days goes back into the communities through donations that we make. We donate to The Elks Club to support their free Thanksgiving meal for veterans and families in the community, the Christmas party they put on for kids and for the All Night Graduation Party they sponsor for graduating seniors to have a safe place to celebrate.
In addition we donate to the Tri-Community Food Bank in Mammoth, Community Schools and the YESS Scholarship that is given to one boy and one girl in the 8th grade in San Manuel and Oracle that writes the best essay on “Why is it important to get an education?” In the past we also donated to Safe Journey House and Adelante Juntos.
